I provide objective, evidence-based psychological evaluations to assist employers and employees in addressing mental health, behavioral, and performance-related concerns in the workplace. These assessments help ensure a safe, productive, and legally compliant work environment while supporting the well-being of employees. Common types of workplace evaluations include:

✔ Disability and Accommodation Assessments – Assesses mental health conditions affecting work performance and provides recommendations for reasonable accommodations under the ADA.

✔ Fitness for Duty Evaluations – Determines whether an employee is mentally and emotionally capable of performing their job safely and effectively.

✔ Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) – Provides an impartial assessment of an employee’s psychological condition, often in cases of disability claims, workers’ compensation, or return-to-work considerations.

✔Substance Use Evaluations – Determines the impact of alcohol or drug use on an employee’s ability to function in safety-sensitive or high-responsibility roles.

Each evaluation is tailored to the specific needs of the workplace, ensuring clear, objective, and legally sound recommendations for employers, HR professionals, and legal representatives.

Psychological Evaluations for Work Leave and Disability

Work Capacity and Medical Leave

Work Capacity & Medical Leave Evaluations (Individual Services)

I also provide independent psychological evaluations for individuals seeking to assess their ability to work and the need for medical leave.

These evaluations are appropriate for professionals experiencing mental health–related impairment who require structured, objective documentation to support workplace leave, disability claims, or return-to-work planning. They may be used in the context of employer policies, U.S. Department of Labor protections, or state disability programs administered through the California Employment Development Department.

Unlike brief provider notes, these evaluations focus on functional capacity, clinical presentation, and the impact of symptoms on occupational performance. Fees range from $1200-$1800 based upon record review, clinical complexity, documentation and employer communication needs.

Important:
Evaluations are independent and clinically based. Recommendations are not predetermined and may or may not support a request for leave. I do not provide same-day or brief documentation without a comprehensive evaluation.
